In addition to its screen, your Keynetic device can be configured via a configuration interface, also called the web configuration server, giving you access to more settings, such as stop detection, from a web browser.
You can access it in several ways depending on your installation context. This article presents 4 access methods for this configuration page.
Certain rules set up by your IT department may prevent your computer from connecting to the configuration interface even if it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If this happens, you will need to directly connect your computer to your device via an RJ45 cable, as described further below.
The different access methods
Access via the IP address displayed on your Keynetic device
This is the simplest method when your Keynetic device is already connected to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
On your device's screen, at the end of the installation steps, you will see an IP address displayed as follows:
Check that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device, then enter this address in your web browser's address bar.
If you have already clicked the "Finish" button, go to the Settings menu, and you will automatically be redirected to the Information page where you can read its IP address.
Direct local access via RJ45/Ethernet
This method allows you to access the configuration interface without going through the Wi-Fi network.
Connect your Keynetic device to your computer using an RJ45 cable and wait a few dozen seconds while your computer configures this new connection. Then open a modern browser and enter the address 10.10.10.1 in the address bar to access the configuration interface.
If this fails, contact your IT department to check your permissions on the network interface.
What you will find in the new interface
The configuration interface looks as follows:
- The first widget covers production detection configuration
- The second widget lets you view various information about your device, also available on the Settings/Information page on your device's screen
- The third and final widget lets you view and edit your network settings, as is already possible from your device's screen
