Introduction
Welcome to the Work Order Scheduling and Tracking Guide! This tool assists you in efficiently managing and organizing your work orders on each production site. Learn how to navigate the interface, interpret key data, and optimize resource usage, including your machines.
Follow this guide to ensure smooth scheduling and make full use of your production capabilities.
Key Points
- Importing WOs in CSV format: Learn how to import WOs/phases into Keyprod from a CSV file for efficient scheduling.
- Scheduling and load-capacity: Use the tool to visualize resource occupancy over different time horizons and avoid overloads.
- Tracking and WO statistics: Monitor WO progress in real-time and analyze statistics to optimize performance.
Importing WOs in CSV Format
Importing WOs into Keyprod simplifies production planning, enables real-time tracking, and automates operator reporting. To import your WOs/phases:
- Click the "PLANNING" button in the bottom menu.
- Select the appropriate production site, then click "IMPORT JOBS."
- Upload the CSV file and match the data with Keyprod's fields.
Your CSV file should contain the following information: WO number, phase number, part reference, and quantity. After importing, check the report to confirm success or identify potential errors.
Scheduling and Load-Capacity
Keyprod allows you to assign WOs to machines and set launch dates. Using load-capacity calculations, you can visualize resource occupancy and plan optimally. Two scheduling modes are available:
- Date Mode: Tasks are scheduled based on their start date and executed chronologically.
- Priority Mode: Tasks are executed based on their priority, regardless of the start date.
Tracking and WO Statistics
WO tracking in Keyprod is done through several tables:
- PLANNING: Visualization of ongoing and scheduled WOs.
- TO PLAN: Unscheduled WOs awaiting machine assignment and launch date.
- IN PROGRESS: Tracking of WOs in production with details on progress, non-conforming parts, and remaining duration.
- DONE: Review of completed WOs with statistics (cycle time, OEE, quality).
Conclusion
Keyprod facilitates scheduling, tracking, and analysis of WOs, helping to optimize production capacity. By using these features, you can effectively manage your production flow and improve overall performance.
